The AGM and Information Evening will be on Thursday 29 February from 7.30pm-9pm.
All are welcome to come along and hear about the different projects that took place last year and plans for going to be coming along in 2024 and beyond.
There are three main groups in the Tidy Towns: The Clean Up Group, the Biodiversity Group and the Climate Club
You can get involved with any or all of the different groups or projects. All are welcome!
The agenda for the evening will include the report from the chairperson, an overview of what happened last year, what's planned for 2024 plus a special guest presentation from UCD research into water quality in Phibsboro homes.
The Climate Club group has joined forces with Connecting Cabra and CosyBatter to create the Triple SEC (Sustainable Energy Community) to greater share knowledge for people to retrofit older houses and install solar pv. This project has been supported by the EU.
The Biodiversity Group will share their progress on projects with local schools, Shandon Pitch and Putt, Connecting Cabra, Bí Urban and the developing Villa Bank Biodiversity Garden which had it's big launch event last year.
The information evening will also look at last year's Buzzfest and plans for the 7th annual one due to take place in September 2024. The mini festival celebrates sustainability, biodiversity and circularity in Dublin 7.
