Phibsborough is known for its Victorian buildings, modern cafes and charming shops. Retail is undergoing a renewal with some lovely new shops and cafes opening and established shops flourishing. Thanks to Maria Kinane who organised our third annual shop front competition.

In 2019, we had 44 entrants for the shop front competition, with more shops getting involved each year.

Mc Geoghs, The Bohemian, took the 1st prize award in 2018 followed by The Hut in 2nd place and The Mad Scone in 3rd place.
